This policy applies to the public website at www.finpleo.com. If you open the finpleo web app, app store pages, social media profiles or third-party websites, additional privacy information from those services may apply.
3. Website delivery and server logs
When you visit this website, technical data is processed to deliver the requested page and keep the website secure. This can include your IP address, date and time of access, requested URL, HTTP status code, browser type, operating system, referrer URL and similar technical information.
The legal basis is our legitimate interest in providing a secure and reliable website, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Log data is kept only for as long as necessary for security, troubleshooting and abuse prevention.

The website uses technically required storage and cookies for basic functions, security and remembering your privacy
choice. This includes the analytics consent value stored under finpleoAnalyticsConsent and technical
ASP.NET security cookies such as antiforgery cookies.
The legal basis for technically required processing is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Where information is stored on or read from your device, this is done only where necessary for the requested website service or with your consent as required by Section 25 TDDDG.
5. Optional analytics
We use Google Analytics only if you actively allow analytics in the privacy preferences. Analytics helps us understand which pages are used, how visitors move through the website and how we can improve content and navigation.
Provider: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Google may also involve Google LLC and other Google entities. Google Analytics may process usage data, device and browser information, approximate location, referrer information and interaction data. Google may set or read cookies and similar technologies after you consent.
The legal basis is your consent, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25 TDDDG. You can withdraw or change your choice at any time via the "Privacy settings" link in the footer. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that happened before the withdrawal.

6. Content delivery and media
Some images, logos, icons and legal documents can be loaded from finpleo-controlled CDN domains such as cdn.finpleo.com. When these resources are requested, technical request data such as your IP address and browser information may be processed to deliver the file and secure the service.
The legal basis is our legitimate interest in fast, secure and reliable delivery of website assets, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
7. Partner and job data
The website displays partner profiles and job listings retrieved from the finpleo API. These pages may include company names, logos, locations, role descriptions and business contact or social profile links. This information is processed to present employer profiles and open roles on the website.
The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating a finance career and recruiting website, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, and, where applicable, contractual or pre-contractual purposes under Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
8. Contact by email or phone
If you contact us by email or phone, we process the information you provide, such as your name, contact details, company, message content and related communication metadata, to respond to your inquiry.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where the communication relates to a contract or pre-contractual request, and otherwise our legitimate interest in handling inquiries, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. We keep communication data only as long as needed for the inquiry and any applicable legal retention obligations.
9. Embedded and linked third-party services
The website links to external services including LinkedIn, Instagram, the Apple App Store, Google Play and the finpleo web app. If you follow those links, the respective provider is responsible for its own data processing.
The About page can include an Instagram-related embed via SnapWidget. When the embedded content loads, SnapWidget and related third-party services may receive technical data such as your IP address, browser information and the page you visited. The legal basis for showing embedded content is our legitimate interest in presenting our public social media activity, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. If a provider stores or reads information on your device beyond what is technically necessary, consent may be required.
10. Recipients and international transfers
Personal data may be processed by technical service providers that help us operate, secure and improve the website, including hosting, analytics, CDN and communication providers. Where providers process data outside the EU or EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as EU Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions where available.
