Program Structure
• Months 1–3 (Operations): Join our dedicated Ops team to drive performance uplift in portfolio companies, on the ground and in the data.
• Months 4–6 (Investments): Rotate into the deal team to work across the full private-equity lifecycle, from sourcing and diligence to signing and exit preparation.
Your Role
You’ll work closely with senior professionals and the owners on live transactions and value-creation initiatives.
Operations (Months 1–3)
• Prepare and execute carve-out concepts
• Diagnose performance levers and design operational improvement plans (pricing, SG&A, footprint, procurement, working capital)
• Track and drive value-creation initiatives with management and external partners
• Collaborate on 100-day plans and targeted restructuring where needed
Investments (Months 4–6)
• Evaluate targets via commercial, financial, and operational due diligence, business-plan reviews, and valuation work
• Build and refine LBO and operating models; pressure-test scenarios and sensitivities.
• Own workstreams and present insights to the Investment Committee
• Support deal sourcing, roadshows, negotiations, and closing preparations
• Contribute to deal structuring and exit planning across the M&A lifecycle
Your Profile
• MBA student or recent graduate in Business, Finance, Engineering, Economics, or related field
• Sharp analytical and quantitative skill set; robust problem-solving instincts
• Strong command of Excel & PowerPoint; exposure to financial modeling is a plus
• Initial professional experience and prior experience in private equity, investment banking, corporate finance, consulting, or audit is advantageous
• Fluent in German and English; crisp communicator and concise writer
• Proactive, entrepreneurial mindset; thrives in small, high-ownership teams
