Your Role
As a private equity MBA intern, you will work alongside our investment team, gaining deep insights into the full lifecycle of private equity transactions and contributing directly to the firm’s success. Key responsibilities include:
• Evaluating potential investment opportunities through due diligence, business plan analysis, and company valuations
• Taking on responsibility for own work streams and presenting them to the investment committee
• Building complex financial models for company valuations, LBOs and business planning
• Participating in deal sourcing and roadshows with senior team members
• Assisting in the development of operational strategies and efficiency improvement plans for portfolio companies
• Participating in deal negotiations, as well as assisting in transaction closing and post-closing preparation
• Supporting all phases of M&A processes, from acquisition to successful exit, including financial modeling and deal structuring
• Collaborating with senior team members on strategic initiatives and value enhancement projects
Your Profile
• MBA student or recent graduate in Business, Finance, Engineering, Economics, or related field
• Sharp analytical and quantitative skill set; robust problem-solving instincts
• Strong command of Excel & PowerPoint; exposure to financial modeling is a plus
• Initial professional experience and prior experience in private equity, investment banking, corporate finance, consulting, or audit is advantageous
• Fluent in German and English; crisp communicator and concise writer
• Proactive, entrepreneurial mindset; thrives in small, high-ownership teams
