Role description
As an Investment Associate, you will be a core member of our investment team, taking on significant responsibility from day one. You will work across the full investment lifecycle – from deal sourcing and due diligence through to operational transformation and successful exit.
Key responsibilities include:
• Independently evaluating potential investment opportunities, including financial modelling, business plan analysis, and company valuations
• Conducting in-depth market and competitor analyses across various industries
• Leading and coordinating due diligence processes with internal and external partners
• Developing and implementing operational improvement initiatives within portfolio companies
• Supporting the structuring, negotiation, and execution of M&A transactions
• Working closely with senior management and the founders on strategic initiatives
• Driving value creation plans and supporting exit processes for portfolio companies
Your Profile
• Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering or a related field
• 3–4 years of relevant professional experience in private equity, investment banking, corporate finance, strategy consulting, or transaction services
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills with proficiency in financial modelling
• Advanced skills in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and ideally familiarity with financial databases
• Proven experience managing small project teams and coordinating external advisors
• Fluent in German and English, with excellent communication skills
• Proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with a strong work ethic and results-oriented attitude
