Role description
We are looking for an Analyst/Associate (m/f/d) in M&A Advisory and Investments in our Munich office. You will be a comprehensive part of our team and accompany us in our ongoing M&A, fundraising and investment projects in the areas of digital, tech-enabled services, software, life science and impact/sustainability. You will work closely together with the team to strategically develop our rapidly growing business. We give you the opportunity to further sharpen your already acquired knowledge as well skill set and thus develop your individual profile in the M&A and investment environment.
Your profile
- 1-4 years of M&A experience, ideally from an M&A boutique, investment bank, Corporate M&A position at a tech company or a closely M&A-related CDD provider
- Readiness to take responsibility in the transactions that 4GC is advising
- Commercial understanding expressed by the ability to assess and analyze business models, markets and competition as well as (tech) trends
- Interest and curiosity for digital and tech-based transactions, relevant project experience is a plus
- High motivation, drive and ability to learn in a dynamic environment
- Outstanding analytical capabilities, profound M&A and financial know-how, excellent communication skills and a reliable independent way of working
Your working areas
- End-to-end execution of M&A transactions (especially sell-sides) and fundraising projects from day one
- Assessment of M&A project opportunities and holistic support on pitches
- Support in our outbound sales activities
